Water Cave
This somewhat surrealist painting shows a water cave in South Australia along the coastal highway between Adelaide and Melbourne. Painted in 2005, I was told much later that the cave collapsed and no longer exists. I am glad to have immortalised it in my painting. As is often the case in my works, also this time I could not resist to add a few creatures that were triggered by my imagination. The flying fish just jumped out to me.
